This is another passion project for a Ludlings song, ‘Velveteen’, which was inspired by the children’s book of the same title by Margery Williams. 

I dreamt up the animation in AfterEffects, the flying brightly colored shapes coming apart then back together – a bit like a tangram.

I went a different direction for the cover art, but kept the colors in the same range and maintained the naive playfulness of the animation.

A slightly silly spin-off from the beloved stuffed rabbit, this bunny I drew for the Ludlings’ single cover looks a bit rougher around the edges. The art was done in pen and ink then colored in Photoshop
