Meet Maria! She’s just opened a shoe shop and finds herself a little overwhelmed by the rules and regulations here in the Basque Country. 

I worked with La Docena to create these animations for Escuela Vasca Retail, to educate business owners on the manifold and somewhat intimidating requirements for running a business.

The Escuela Vasca had a preexisting style guide, featuring a pastel palette and sans serif font. I was careful to keep Maria’s world consistent with their brand identity.

We were working to a very tight deadline and I was also responsible for editing the educational videos and providing supplemental graphics (like titles screens and sidebars), all in my second language.

Maria made the ins and outs of retail regulation more comprehensible…and dare I say it? Even a little fun.
